The International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) recently published the consultation paper titled Recommendations of Liquidity Risk Management for Collective Investment Schemes, which seeks to address structural vulnerabilities arising from asset management activities, as part of its mission to protect investors and mitigate systemic risk in global financial markets.

IOSCO has also published a Good Practices Report for consultation, aimed at providing more practical information addressing liquidity risk management (incl ensuring consistency between a fund’s redemption terms and its investment strategy; liquidity risk management tools; and stress testing).

Comments on these two consultation reports should be submitted on or before Monday, September 18, 2017. For the full article please click here.

Please email by close of business on Friday, August 4, 2017 whether you think that ISLA should be responding and if you have any initial comments.
