The ISLA 2009 Securities Lending Set-Off Protocol (the “Protocol”) is a tool to replace the post-default provisions of outstanding 1994 OSLA, 1995 OSLA, MEFISLA, GESLA and/or 2000 GMSLA agreements (as specified) between adhering parties with the post-default provisions of the forthcoming GMSLA 2009.
It should be noted that there is no adherence fee required for ISLA members or non-ISLA members submitting Adherence Letters in connection with the Protocol.
The ISLA Securities Lending Set-Off Protocol is open to ISLA members and non-members. No cut-off date for adherence to the Protocol has been set.
